Improving Performance

Elite athletes employ simple strategies and techniques to improve performance. How better to gain an insight into these tried-and-tested methods, than to hear directly from the elite athletes and coaches themselves? This insightful program takes us trackside to the training grounds of eight sportspeople from around the world, who share their personal insights and stories of performance training. We learn how to plan an effective training schedule and discuss the importance of psychological preparation. We also discuss the risks involved in performance enhancing drugs, and the benefits that current advances in sports technology bring to athletic performance and measurement.
